Spring 2009 Lodge Interior Renovation Completed

Shore Lodge has completed a spring renovation project to interior common areas, including the lobby, foyer, Narrows Restaurant and Narrows Lounge. This renovation focused on three key goals set by the new ownership group to improve the overall comfort and experience for resort guests:
1. Address the general wear and tear after a decade of use in high traffic areas by replacing furniture, wall coverings and flooring.
2. Introduce warm tones inspired by the McCall surroundings and great northwest lodges, including new naturally-themed artwork.
3. Open up sightlines to Payette Lake and create a lighter-feeling indoor environment by removing rock pillars and timber ceiling beams in Narrows Restaurant and the lobby area.
4. Create a new gift shop with espresso service.
Guests entering the hotel will immediately notice how bright, open and inviting the lodge is. The new energy efficient windows that have been installed are tinted to reduce glare, especially in the winter months. Heavy draperies have been removed to further widen the lake and mountain views.
The color palette incorporates neutral tones including tans, golds and browns. Contemporary lighting fixtures have been installed and historic photos in the hallways have been reframed. By removing a wall and several large beams, seating has been expanded in The Narrows Restaurant and in Narrows Lounge.
Now open is the new Shore Lodge Gift Shop where guests can purchase logo wear, snacks, bottled water and souvenirs. Within the shop is an espresso stand serving all your favorite coffee beverages.
With the interior complete, work has moved outdoors to the lakeside patio. Set for a completion date of June 15th, this beautifully landscaped patio will no doubt be the most scenic/glamorous/romantic/lively spot to unwind and grab a bite in McCall. Comfortable lounge-style seating on the upper level will be the ideal place to relax with a cocktail and friends after a day hiking or biking. The lower level patio is right on the water, with seating for up to 80 guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the summer.
